This highly anticipated addition marks a significant milestone for Guild Care with the Hove shop being it’s eleventh shop in the local area. Peter James, bestselling author of crime and thriller novels, was delighted to be invited to open the large new store in George Street, Hove. The new Guild Care shop promises to delight avid readers and shoppers alike with its diverse range of goods. Customers can explore an extensive collection of books, clothes, accessories, games, jewellery and electrical items. All money raised in the shop will help Guild Care to achieve its vision for all those in need of care to live fulfilling, safe and secure lives. Adam Rider, Director of Retail at Guild Care, said ‘Guild Care are delighted to open a flagship store in Hove. Our charity is supported by the community of Sussex via generous quality donations. All the proceeds from the goods we sell help us to support older people, people living with dementia, and children and adults with learning disabilities in the local community. I would like to thank Mike Holland for his generous financial support enabling Guild Care to secure this prime Hove location, and also thank Peter James for kindly opening our new shop’.
