Statement by new Interim Chair 

It is with regret that I have to announce that our Chair, Allan Reid, has taken the decision to resign from the Board of Trustees after four very productive years working first as a Trustee and then as Chair of Guild Care.

His decision comes at a time of change for the charity.  As such I have agreed to step into the position on an interim basis whilst we undertake a review of the charity’s governance needs to enable us to move into a new strategic planning phase with the right Board resources in place.  Percy Nowell, Trustee, has agreed to fill my place by acting as our Interim Deputy Chair during this period. 

We are all very grateful for Allan for his tireless support whilst volunteering with us and wish him all the very best for the future.

I look forward to working with all my colleagues, service users and Guild Care supporters over the coming months as the new Chair.
