On Sunday 10^th February three people ran the Worthing Half Marathon in support of Guild Care: Lee Guillver, Lucie Hanks, and Warren Fabes.

Lee, a member of Guild Care’s Maintenance Team, raised over £250 in sponsorship running in a tutu! He said, “I had a great time. I enjoyed the atmosphere and felt well supported. It was a well organised day. I got a lot positive comments for my outfit! I decided to run the Half Marathon for Guild Care because I want to help them support local adults and children in need.”

The Worthing Half Marathon has supported Guild Care for a number of years, making the organisation its charity partner. Being a charity partner means that a  percentage of the money raised from the event will go towards Guild Care’s community services. The final figure for 2019 is still to be confirmed, but last year’s event raised over £5,600 for the charity.
