Alex has worked in the charity sector for 25 years, initially in international development before moving into education, and then social care. Alex has held senior roles in international, national and regional fundraising and marketing roles before taking up his first CEO position 10 years ago for a national children’s charity. His career has included a wide range of experience, gained across a variety of different causes which helps guide Guild Care’s strategy and operations from both a commercial and charitable perspective. 

Alex is passionate about addressing social inequality and using his skills and experience to create and grow social value in the community and drive societal change.

Outside of work, Alex sits on the Board of Members of a large multi-academy trust and has Trustee experience gained in education, carers and refugee charities.
