Whether you’re an experience care assistant or new to care, we have four types of care assistant roles available across each of our three homes in Worthing.

Day Care Assistant

As a day Care Assistant, you'll provide compassionate, person-centered care to our residents, ensuring that their feelings are respected and assisting them to stay independent. In addition to helping with personal care, mealtimes, and activities, you'll be a listening ear to those who need it most.

Night Care Assistant

As a night Care Assistant, you'll have time to provide care that meets the needs of the residents, checking on them at regular intervals according to their care plans. You’ll be busy monitoring and assisting residents, but without the noise and interruptions of the daytime. You will respond promptly to calls for assistance while respecting, at all times, the privacy, dignity and choice of the residents.

Bank Care Assistant

Working as a Bank Care Assistant (as and when required) can provide you with flexible working arrangements resulting in a better work-life balance. It also gives you the chance to earn some extra money and to fit work around family arrangements, study, and other commitments. You get to work within our care homes and gain more skills and experience working in the care sector by working on the bank team at Guild Care.

Dementia Support Worker

Among the most rewarding aspects of being a Dementia Support Worker is the opportunity to interact with our residents, knowing that your support has made a real difference to their lives. You will assist our residents who are living well with dementia with all aspects of their personal care, but in a way that is focused on people’s feelings and turning a task into a positive social interaction. You will create a happy, homely, and stimulating environment for our residents, based on individual life-style choices and the interests of the residents.
