Older Peoples Services: Dementia Services Assistant Duties can include helping with the coffee bar and serving and clearing away at lunch times, however this really just makes up a small part of the role. The role also includes: General assistance with customers around the centre and ability to support customers with activities on a 1-1 basis. Ability to support with general office admin (answering the phone, taking messages and assisting with mail outs). Passing customer information on regarding customer wellbeing/working as part of a team. The most important thing will be your kind and patient nature and your enthusiasm for interacting with our customers. An understanding of the needs of people living with dementia may be useful, however we will provide support and guidance. Can you help?
