Les has been with Guild Care for 16 years. His career began as a housekeeping assistant at Linfield House, then as housekeeping manager at two of the Guild Care homes.

Having completed his health and safety qualification, Les worked in various health and safety roles for eight years. In 2021 Les was promoted to the role of the Director of Safety and Compliance, in which he supports the services in maintaining regulatory compliance.

Les is passionate about providing high quality, person-centred care to people in the least restrictive and safest manner possible. He is environmentally conscious, and is aiming, with the support of our staff, to make our services greener.

Outside of work, Les is a keen traveller. When he is not out and about getting to know new places, he can be found in a theatre watching a play, or in a music venue enjoying a gig!
