Treehouse Club - Children and young adults with learning disabilities, Autism, and complex needs

Our Treehouse Club Children’s Day Centre in Worthing provides a welcoming and inclusive environment for children and young people aged 8–18 with learning disabilities and both moderate and more complex support requirements.

Our child-centred approach sessions, ensures that each young person is supported to achieve the best possible individual outcomes, in line with their needs, preferences and abilities. 

For the young people, sessions are tailored to focus on the development of independence and essential life skills, supporting a positive and successful transition into adulthood.

What we offer at Treehouse Club

Our fully trained staff provide high-quality support to children and young people within a safe and accessible new hub with overhead tracking hoists throughout, along with a safe and secure outdoor space. Support is tailored to individual needs, with staffing ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 to ensure appropriate levels of support and engagement. 

Person centred support planning and engagement

We are committed to delivering person-centred support that is tailored to the individual needs, preferences and aspirations of each child and young person.

Through careful planning and meaningful engagement, we work in partnership with families to ensure the best possible outcomes are achieved.

A range of engagement and wellbeing activities 

Our programme of activities is carefully designed to promote engagement, development and wellbeing.

This includes cooking, sensory play, messy play, arts and crafts, games, sports, and a variety of community-based experiences such as bowling, cinema visits, farm outings, shopping trips and picnics in the park.

Weekend and holiday sessions for children aged 8-18 (6 hours) 

1st, 2nd & 3rd, Saturday of every month, year-round
4th Sunday of every month, year-round

School holidays:  Weekday sessions available  

Cost: £30 - £45 per session dependant on level of support needed

Fees and funding 

Families are eligible to access short breaks funded services if they receive the middle or high rate care component of Disability Living Allowance (DLA). 

This service is supported by West Sussex County Council funding and other generous sponsors. This support enables these special days to be available at no extra cost to families other than the standard session fee.
