Electronic Temperature Instruments (ETI Ltd) has chosen Guild Care as their charity of the year, setting a fundraising target of £5,000.

The award-winning digital thermometer manufacturer plans to participate in a variety of events this year to reach their target, including four members of staff taking part in the 2020 Brighton Marathon, with the company already sponsoring £250 for every finisher.

The business has already raised a brilliant £600 via their Christmas Jumper Day back in December and plan to once again participate in our Annual Golf Challenge in June under team alias ‘Perky Putters.’

Nicky Dumbleton, ETI’s CSR Coordinator, said: “ETI are delighted to announce that Guild Care will be at the centre of our charitable fundraising for 2020. We chose to support this fantastic organisation as our chosen charity because of the excellent services they provide in Worthing and its surrounding areas. We are proud to support a charity that makes such a difference to people’s lives and we hope to be able to raise as much as possible through our fundraising efforts over the coming months.”

Our Director of Fundraising, Amanda Tucker, said: “The support of local businesses means such a lot to Guild Care and the people who use our diverse range of services. Without the financial help of local businesses and the community, we wouldn’t be able to continue to offer the enhanced care and support to some of the most vulnerable in our community. We are so grateful to ETI for choosing Guild Care as their charity of the year and are really looking forward to working together to ensure the best from this exciting new partnership.”
