Our Ashdown Services provide support for children, teenagers and young adults with special needs and disabilities. We are seeking volunteers who can help out at our sessions which run on evenings, weekends and during school holidays. You may be assisting with setting up the room for activities, encouraging and helping service users to participate, and generally helping to create a warm friendly and fun environment.

This is a volunteering opportunity which may suit a caring individual aged 16 or over who is considering  care, social work, nursing, teaching or similar careers and is  looking to gain experience of working with young people with additional needs. Alternatively, it may suit anyone with a caring nature who is looking for a fun, active voluntary role.
