Treetops Hub - Adults with learning disabilities and more complex needs

Treetops Hub in Worthing offers a warm welcome for adults with mild and moderate learning disabilities and more complex needs. We are open Monday-Friday 9am-4pm (excluding bank holidays).

We are committed to supporting what matters to you. We offer person-centred support planning to achieve aspirations and personal outcomes, and a wide range of activities designed to promote independence and increase health, wellbeing, and social connections.

Within our established community links, we raise awareness about living with disabilities and are committed to reducing social stigma.

What we offer for adults with learning disabilities at Treetops Hub

Person-centred support planning 

Aiming to achieve personal outcomes, including good health, friendships, community, and independence skills.

Service-based activities and access to in-house courses in key skills

We focus on developing communication skills, fostering peer relationships, promoting independence in daily living, building confidence, supporting creative expression through art, and assisting with exercise in line with individual external physiotherapy plans. 

We also offer access to courses, provided by local colleges.

Access to our In-house sensory therapist and Sensory Room

We provide sensory integration therapy to support sensory processing and strengthen motor skills.

Offering a soft, calming environment for sensory sessions or quiet reflection.

Community based activities and Community Links

Activities including bowling, swimming, general leisure pursuits, personal safety awareness and transport familiarisation. 

Our Community Links group regularly attends local schools and community groups to raise awareness about living with learning disabilities and reduce social stigma.

High levels of care with Clinical training 

Provided to our established staff team by our in-house registered nurse as required, to meet complex health needs.

Extra Club

Extra Club is a social and friendship group for young adults aged 20-35 with learning disabilities and more complex needs.
